Where Will Your Next Second Chance Come From?

Every week in Lifeblood groups we get to hear from people whose spirit was crushed because they couldn’t find their own solution to the massive problems of life. Most of us reach a point in our lives when we realize that what we know simply isn’t enough, that we simply are not able, on our own to solve our problems.  It’s so easy to feel defeated.  We should take hope in the fact that many people, just like us have found success in life after complete defeat.  We hope that some day you’ll see your defeat as a starting point for the new you. We can’t start to put the pieces back together until we recognize that we’re broken and that we’ll need help to rebuild our lives.

There is a second chance giver in your life, You just need to keep looking for them.

Once we come to the conclusion that what we need to do isn’t possible without help, we can choose one of two paths.  Path one is the decision to keep struggling on our own, pretending that somehow, some day our future will be magically transformed.  Path two is the choice to reach out to someone or something else for help.  Sometimes asking for help seems like the hardest choice.  After all, who would reach out to help me?  Why do I even deserve a second chance, or another second chance.  For those of us who have made that difficult choice, we can look back and see that there were people around us who were just waiting for us to ask for help, again.  There is a second chance giver in your life, You just need to keep looking for them.

Jesus beat death and he always wins at life.  We can win at life too because He defeated death.

Jesus is the greatest second chance giver of all.  We can bring our mistakes and damage to Him and ask for healing and forgiveness.  When we repent and ask Christ into our life, He doesn’t care who we’ve been or what we’ve done.  Jesus will accept us as we are and will love us as He sees us, perfectly.  We love to see people transformed by making the simple choice to ask Jesus into their lives.  Living as a Christ follower helps us face our real and massive struggles and helps us put them into perspective. We love to watch this process happen because we are reminded of the way it continues to happen for us. Jesus beat death and he always wins at life.  We can win at life too because He defeated death.
